We welcome all to register at Queen of Angels but please know there is a different tuition rate for non-parishioners. All families must be registered in St. David, Our Lady Help of Christians, or St. John Bosco parishes prior to registering for school to qualify for in-Parish tuition rates. St.John Bosco parishioners must bring a letter from their pastor stating that they are parishioners to qualify for in-Parish tuition rates.

All children must be the following age for the listed class on or before September 1, 2024
PreK 3 – age 3; PreK4 – age 4, Kindergarten- age 5, First Grade – age 6.
No exceptions to the age requirement can be made. All PreK students MUST be fully potty trained.

Our school offers the children a quality, Catholic education enhanced with technology, Spanish, art, music, physical education, library. Honors math is available for grades 5-8. .
Our PreK program offers an outstanding curriculum that meets the needs of both working and stay at home parents. PreK3 and PreK4 have programs at the following times:

What do I need for registration?
The necessary forms and certificates for admission are available online under our Admissions tab. In addition to these forms, you need: State Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate (if Catholic). A record of immunization that must be updated and available for confirmation
How much is tuition and how do I pay? Tuition rates are available online. Tuition may be paid once, twice a year, or monthly through FACTS, out tuition management system.
Is tuition assistance available?
A limited amount of scholarship money is available each year. Parents must fill out an application at: https://online.factsmgt.com/aid Paula Warnalis, our financial aid manager, will answer any questions you have: [email protected]
Is busing provided?
Busing is provided for grades K-8 from the school district where the student resides.
What time is the QOA school day?
Grades K-8 starts at 8:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm. Full day Preschool starts at 8:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm. Half day Preschool starts at 8:00 am and ends at 12:00 noon.
Is morning and afternoon care for my child available?
Yes, children may be dropped off at 7:00 in the morning. Afternoon CARES is available from 3:30 – 6:00 PM.
What are the school uniforms?
Uniform requirements for Queen of Angels can be found here and may be purchased at Flynn and O’Hara .
Are Learning Support services offered at QOA? Support in remedial reading, remedial math, speech and counseling services are provided by the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit and our Learning Support program lead by Mrs. Christine Fitzpatrick.
Is a microwave or refrigerator available for my child/ren?
Queen of Angels does not heat food brought from home or refrigerate it.
Is a hot lunch available for my child?
Yes, hot lunch is available for purchase for students who stay all day in school. Soft pretzels are also able to be ordered for snack time.
Do Preschool/Kindergarten students have nap time?
Yes. Preschool students that stay full day and our kindergarten students do have a “brain break” in the afternoon.
How do I notify QOA of a change to my child’s dismissal transportation?
We ask that you contact our school secretary Mrs. Sue O’Connor at 215-659-6393 for dismissal changes. Please always email your child’s teacher as well.
Are there opportunities to volunteer at QOA?
There are opportunities to volunteer at QOA as a lunch parent, specials class helper, field trip chaperone to name a few. QOA requires all volunteers to have clearances. You can find information on those required clearances here.
How do I find out what’s going on at QOA? Each teacher also their own classroom website where they post information regarding their specific classes. You can find each classroom under the Classrooms tab on this website. We also send out a weekly newsletter on Thursdays filled with information about all upcoming events and information.
