Quiz Bowl Success!

Mrs. Behan worked with two groups of students to prepare them to compete in their first online  Quiz Bowl tournament ("Texas Lone Star Tip Off") hosted by the Texas Quiz Bowl Alliance. Students used an online buzzer system and Zoom to compete against students, mainly from Texas. After 6 rounds, both teams made it to the playoffs in their divisions. As an individual, 8th grader Declan Kelly scored in approximately the top 5%. Nearly 400 students competed.  Here are the students who participated:  7th & 8th grade team Vaughn Lanahan, Declan Kelly, John Carter, Tori Strybuc, Santiago Coyle, Gus Nama,  6th grade team, Colin Horan, Kyleigh Marshall, Madeline Koch, Thomas McGlasson, Luke Toczylowski.  We are so proud of them!
