Mr. Jeffrey Darrohn

I have taught music for about 25 years in both the US and UK, everything from classroom music K-12, band 4 ^th-12 ^th,  and university teaching incorporating jazz education and music teacher training. My longest tenure was at Saint David School 1987-2004 which included being Director of Bands and Music Director. As a professional musician I have performed in the US and Europe. This includes performing with opera star Robert Merrill, pop singer Lou Rawls, jazz musician Buddy DeFranco and rap artist Kanye West. As a composer my music has been performed by the famed BBC Radio Big Band on BBC Radio and Europe, Pete Cater Big Band, US Army Blues Jazz Big Band, Brian Pastor Big Band and many more. Alfred Music Publishing Company has published my school jazz band through their Belwin Jazz Division. I have a B.M. in Music Education and Performance from University of the Arts and a Masters of Music Education from Boston University.
