I am so excited to be joining Queen of Angels this year and feel blessed that God has led me here. I was born and raised in Midland, TX and then moved to attend the University of Dallas, a Catholic, liberal arts university from where I received a B.A. in Theology. After 11 years of teaching in the Diocese of Dallas, I met and married my wonderful husband, John, (who is also a teacher), moved to Pennsylvania and began teaching in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia just a few years ago. I am certified to teach in many areas: 4th-8th Generalist, 4th-12th Math, 4th-8th Social Studies, 8th-12th History, and Gifted and Talented. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing the piano, baking, cooking, and traveling. I love studying Math and Theology and have taken many outside courses, including graduate-level Statistics and Theology. During the summer, my husband and I often visit my family in Texas and have explored places such as Hawaii, England, Ireland, Spain, Italy, France, and Mexico. The most interesting places I have visited were Alaska and Turkey. God bless us all as we live our faith together at QOA!
